Roaming Protect BG app for iPhone and iPad

The Mechanism for limiting the cases of unintentional roaming registered on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria aims to inform you where in Bulgaria is there an increased risk of unintentional roaming, as well as to warn the user immediately if their mobile terminal connects to unwanted foreign mobile network.

The mobile app “Roaming Protect”, which is part of the Mechanism, will enable users to form a list of countries and/or mobile operators, with which they do not want to unintentionally exchange mobile data through roaming made within the Bulgarian territory. Ultimately, users will be able to determine which are the foreign networks of operators from neighboring countries with which they do not want an unintentional roaming to be carried out. This way, if you are in a border area and you have allowed your data roaming, the application will send you a notification as soon as you connect to a foreign network that you have banned, regardless of the actions of your mobile operator. At the same time, the connection will be registered in the CRC database and will be visualized on the public map for unintentional roaming events.

If a set of cases of unconscious roaming is formed in a given region of Bulgaria, the application will notify you when approaching the area where this set is.
